Lucas is a musician from Madrid (Spain). He writes his own songs and performs every week, not only in Spain, but all around the globe. Many famous folk singers from Spain sing his songs (Clara Montes, Mónica Molina, Raphael…). Lucas spent his early years in London, and still sings in English with his cover band: Zolo Zeppelin. He has worked as an interpreter and a translator, as a photographer, as an air-stewart, as a producer, as a lyrics writer, but always temporarily, and as a way to come back to music. His songs are influenced by many Latin-American and Spanish singers (Silvio Rodriguez, Jorge Cafrune, Violeta Parra..), but also by many artists from the 70s such as Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie…

Argentina (13 gigs in cities such as Buenos Aires, La Plata, Rosario, Córdoba, Mendoza, Bahía Blanca and Pergamino.), Brasil (4 gigs), Panamá (2 gigs), Costa Rica (2 gigs), México (6 gigs in México D.F. y Chiapas), Guinea Ecuatorial (5 gigs in Bata, Malabo, etc…) y París ( 4 gigs) Palestina (2 gigs), Washingtong D.C, Thailand....
He has travelled all around South and Central America, U.S., U.K., India, Nepal, Cambodia, Morocco, and all across Europe. Always with his guitar on his back and never waisting an occasion to jam with local musicians.
DISCOGRAPHY
Lucas has recently recorded “Palo al Agua” for EMI publishing. Before that, he edited 3 albums on his own: “Es un trabajo duro” in 2008, “Isla” in 2005 and “Por otro lado” in 2004. In 1999 the label Ritmo y Compás edited hois first record: Rayuela. |
